Hello Everyone,
The winds of Indiana have spoken! Judy & I are planning to return to our
homeland in the next several weeks. I have resigned my position as
President & Executive Director of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association,
effective April 30, 2005, in favor of retirement.

This is a decision not made lightly but with the realization that
retirement also brings forth certain benefits not readily available to
those having to continue the daily effort that the work world requires. The
opportunity to not set an alarm clock, to go whenever we please when we
want, the chance to wet a line in a couple of my favorite fishing holes and
most importantly, the adventure of returning home to family and old
friends, made the decision much easier.

I have agreed to continue on with GWRRA in a consulting role that will
enable me to stay semi-active in the Association that I so deeply love and
care for.

During the transition period of hiring a new Executive Director, I will
continue to act in my current capacity so it will be business as usual.
This will continue through whatever period of time is necessary, even if it
is after April 30. Whether I am in Indiana or Arizona is immaterial what
with the internet, conference calling and cell phones. (Just don´t call me
when I have that 9 lb Bass on the line or having just knocked my tee shot
three feet from the cup and need the putt for a birdie!)

Judy & I do want to specifically thank each and every one of you. You have
all touched our lives in many different ways and we will always remember
you for your loyalty, your dedication and your efforts on behalf of GWRRA.
